The Silicone Backing Foam Rod 6mm is a flexible closed-cell foam filler designed to support and control the depth of sealant joints. Installed before applying silicone or other sealants, it helps create the correct joint profile while improving sealant performance and reducing material usage.

Commonly used in tiling, construction, and expansion joints, the foam rod prevents sealant from bonding to the bottom of the joint, allowing proper movement and flexibility once cured. Its lightweight and compressible design makes it easy to install into gaps and joints of various surfaces.

Supplied in a convenient 200 metre roll, this backing rod is ideal for bathrooms, expansion joints, glazing, and general sealing applications.
